Rainwater test

Since I live in Florida we get plenty of rain year round. Today was one of those days and so i decided to test out the rainwater PH and TDS from two places, one from a bowl I put outside and another from where the rainwater puddles in my yard.

Top: rain that has collected on my yard has a  PH of 7.4-7.5 and TDS of 440+. I assume the PH and TDS is higher because it has touched the ground and contaminants have been introduced in the water.

Bottom: rain that has collected in a bowl has a PH of 5.1-5.2 and TDS of 9-10. If I were to collect this rain water it would be perfect for the Bettas in the coccina complex, it would be the perfect water to induce breeding as well. Might have to start putting buckets outside...
